This is a huge and powerfull wine from the Arno Valley close to the Chianti Classico region, made of 100% Sangiovese from one of Italies greatest cultproducers Tenuta Petrolo. One of Tuscanies finest 100% Sangiovese wines and is certainly the 100% Sangiovese bases Supertuscan of the future!
This wine is sold by Petrolo for costprice today as they are convinced that as vines get older, this wine will be one Italies finest Supertuscan wines that can outclass many 100% sangiovese based wines including a large part of the Brunello's.
Pairs very well with seasoned stewes and roasted meats.
Drinktemperature is 16-18° C. Drink until 10-12 years after the year of production |

Great Sangiovese! Perhaps wait until 2010 for drinking to have the tannins a bit tamed. Than you should be in for e real treat
